Created with input from residents, the piece speaks to Centennial’s values of communal wellbeing.
“Seasons of Joy” – Nursing Facility Courtyard Mural
Bright florals, snow-capped mountains, and flowing colors bring new life to the courtyard of this long-term care facility. Designed with the wellbeing of residents in mind, the mural transforms the space into a calming, joyful retreat. Hearing the reflections of residents—many of whom shared memories of travels and wildlife—was a heartwarming part of the process.

Positioned at the entrance to Manitou Springs with a clear view of the real Pikes Peak rising behind it, this panel mural captures the mountain bathed in the colors of dawn. Expressive, fluid brushstrokes evoke movement and light, echoing the energy of a new day. The piece invites visitors to pause and connect with the landscape—a painted sunrise mirroring the one just beyond it.
